If you have followed by blog regularly you know we have a "summer cottage" which we bought two years ago. A place where we spend most of the weekends and holidays, but its just asummer cottage. No insulation for the winter, just thin wood walls. Also the space is about 48 square meters (for five persons). But we love this place, so we decided to do something...
When the summer holiday ended, I designed our "new" cottage and its now above. A simple, modern "box" house. We are not tearing down the old cottage, just the roof. We will build a new extension part with a loft flooring and house will be insulated for the winter. So the change will be huge... And all this should be ready for the next summer... Let´s see what happens!

Blogiani säännöllisesti seuraavat ovat jo varmaan huomanneet sekoamiseni maalaiselämään. Se ollut menoa. Koitan kuitenkin vielä parhaani mukaan esittää kolmannenpolven helsinkiläistä, mutta pari vuotta sitten ostettu "remppapommi" pisti elämämme vähän sekaisin. Ja myös nelähitallin hevoset... Ihana löytää itsestään, ihan sekopäinen hevosnainen nelikymppisenä.
Vietämme mökillä kaiken mahdollisen vapaa-ajan, vaikka kyseessä on simppeli, 48-neliöinen, viemäröimätön kevythirsimökki.
Hyvällä asenteella näin pärjää loistavasti. Ongelma vain on se, että haluamme viettää aika mökillä ympärivuotisesti ja siihen ei enää hyvä asenne auta, ei edes takka jonka muutamme ensin varaavaksi, kun eristys ei vain riitä. Myös tilaa tarvitsemme vähän lisää. Kohta lapsemme haluavat keverinsa mukaan mökille. Kesäloman lopussa teimme radikaalin päätöksen ja piirsin ekat luonnokset "uudesta" mökistämme, joka rakennetaan purkamalla vanha katto ja lisäämällä päähän kaksikerroksinen lisäosa. Ikkunat vaihtuvat eristettyin isompiin, katto pulpettimalliin ja ulkovuoraus mustaan pystylaudoitukseen. Paljon ja pienellä budjetilla...
Eilen sain piirustukseni puhtaaksi piirrettyinä ja ensi kesänä pitäisi olla valmista. Et silleen!
